The 'Cursed' soundtrack captures the young, fresh, hip spirit that made the Scream soundtracks such all-around winners. Collective Soul was a great pick for this CD and did an amazing job crooning the theme song. The group's "Better Now", which will be in shops about a fortnight before the movie opens, is one of a slew of slick tracks on this CD. Folks may recall that Soul did the theme track to Craven's "Scream 2" a few years back. The track listing for the soundtrack also includes : titles by Days Grace, Dashboard Confessional, The Crystal Method, Bowling For Soup (who do a nifty retool of "Lil' Red Riding Hood"),and composer Marco Beltrami. I'm a huge Wes Craven fan, all the way back to the first Nightmare On Elm Street. The lineup of artists they were able to bring to the project is fantastic. And, of course, the soundtracks to the 'Scream' movies were very successful, and they've done a great job at duplicating that, if not improving greatly on it.
