February 29, 2000: I am a lover and a supporter of gospel music. I will buy a CD in order to have that one song that I love. The last album I purchased that thoroughly blesses me this way was Ron Winans Family and Friends II. 1993 maybe? Whether we know Bishop Morton or not, this is a project that we as the people of God can be proud of. We know his God. I am impressed by the quality of the entire album; the sound of the music, the voices AND their content. I hear no empty words with an upbeat tempo attached to them. Bishop Morton I am SO proud of you. God bless you and those who minister along with you. May the people of God who are called to minister this way be encouraged to sing with the spirit and with the understanding also.
