Recorded live at New York's Cathedral of St. John the Divine in October of 1997, Concert for Peace finds Nana Mouskouri singing songs of love and peace in front of an international crowd of politicians and religious figures. There are also a few Broadway songs and greatest hits, as well as two Greek songs that represent her first Greek recordings to be released in the U.S. in the '90s. It doesn't quite rise to the level of transcendent, but it's nevertheless an entertaining show that should please fans. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
