June 18, 2008: Although some may find this show confusing and boring, I find "Company" to be a funny, moving, and unique musical that is just plain wonderful. I bought this CD after hearing Elaine Stritch sing "The Ladies Who Lunch" (she was the first person to sing this song in the original cast on the CD). I am a huge Steven Sondheim fan and love all his musicals, including this masterpiece. Not too long ago, I saw the 2006 revival cast perform on Great Perfomances on television, and it was AWESOME AND HILARIOUS! If you love this CD, I recommend you to buy "Company: A Musical Comedy" starring Raul Esparza on DVD. This is one of Sondheim's best musicals and I recommend any musical lover to add this one to their collection. It's fantastic!
