Although this isn't a bad budget-priced disc -- after all, it has all of his best-known songs -- there are better collections available, offering more songs and better sound for not much more money. July 18, 2009: Always loved his work. There were some songs here that I had not heard his version before and they were great. CD does not work well in my car and as I do not typically have that problem, it somewhat limits its usefulness.

April 04, 2003: The only reason to buy this album is if you just want a copy of "American Pie" handy. Of course I bought it for that reason. The songwriting talents of this artist are phenominal, and that song lives on. However, I suggest just buying the original album if you're looking for something that shows that. It's sort of depressing to hear him try to make the "New Version" of "American Pie" more up-beat and modern. I love you Don, but that one's a mistake.
