About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Mannheim Steamroller's first all-new holiday album in six years features the legendary Johnny Mathis singing the "Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting)," as well as Olivia Newton-John in "Christmas Lullaby," a beautiful new song penned by Mannheim mastermind Chip Davis. Other selections include dynamic arrangements of the Yuletide favorites "Let it Snow," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Frosty the Snowman," and more. Barnes & Noble

February 09, 2009: I was disappointed with the selections on this Christmas CD, although the musical quality was excellent. The selections were a bit snoozy...that's my own fault...I should have previewed it more closely before I bought it to be sure it was what I wanted.

December 23, 2007: Of my collection of many older Steamroller Christmas recordings, this is my least favorite with only a couple of selections that are pleasing. Three songs are repeats, two traditional selections "Christmas Song" and "Feliz Navidad" simply are too "Welk-like" and drag. I will be much more cautious before buying another Chip Davis recording.
