This companion disc to Cantos De Navidad by Cedarmont (a company specializing in Spanish language Bible-based musical audiovisual materials for children) is the far superior one for two reasons: each song is recognizable, despite the fact that "Joy to the World" somehow translates to "Al Mundo Paz" (a peaceful world), and all the songs are choir-based rather than featuring very poor soloists. The arrangements and production by Sue and Mike Gay are simple but effective piano-, chime-, and horn-based number. After the initial 15 tracks, the song sequence repeats with vocal and instrumental tracks on different channels so that children can sing along without the recorded vocals.
