August 23, 2002: Martha Argerich is a very good pianist. Some people with issues say that there is no dignity in her readings, but this is not true. If Chopin today was alive he would be kissing Martha's feet for not playing his masterpieces the boring way other pianists (i.e. freire) play them. When i listen to this it becomes very obvious that Martha is an emotional person, and shes not afraid to cry out at the piano. bravo.
