July 28, 2009: Carney is a stone cold classic. Leon Russell was a Huge star in the seventies that somehow got forgotten in the eighties, but his music deserves to heard again today.

August 26, 2007: My mother played this brilliant man's music when I was growing up in the 70's. Chunky, plastic, 8-track tapes with songs that would stick in my head forever and a day. Listening to Carney now at 40, I can't begin to describe the happiness through the tears a few of these songs make me feel. The waters run deep. Mama raised her daughter on some good stuff I'll wager!!
