Canciones del Recuerdo is a collection of Latin love songs that covers different aspects of the genre. Many of the songs are smooth and sensual, using very little instrumentation and concentrating on the melody. Other songs pile on the orchestration and backup singers, utilizing production techniques to achieve the same sound. Either way, this is actually a pretty good album, filled with very romantic songs that only occasionally get too sentimental for their own good.
