About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Although the disco era is only a portion of the Trammps career, it's without question their most important phase and the one they are the most well-known for. Burn Baby Burn takes every single hit from this era and puts them on one economically sensible disc. Their largest hit, "Disco Inferno," of course leads things off the way one would expect from a greatest-hits sampler, but further listening unveils some of their lesser known but equally as fun and funky hits like "That's Where the Happy People Go" and "The Night the Lights Went Out." While it's not the most thorough survey of their career (one should check out Rhino's This Is Where the Happy People Go compilation from 1994 for that), it's definitely one that would satiate the most casual of listeners and serve as an excellent purchase for those just looking for the hits. October 26, 2005: Rob, wrote a nice little review, BUT this has to be one of the best, if not the best greatest hits albums ever. Here you get not only Disco Inferno, but also all of the excellent dance floor, club hits of The Fabulous Trammps. A must buy at this price....
