BGO's two-fer of Brinsley Schwarz's first two albums offers more liner notes than the two-fer available on One Way, and its cover artwork is different, offering miniatures of the two album covers instead of a blown-up version of the debut. Musically, it's nearly the same, with the sole exception being that Despite It All runs before Brinsley Schwarz. So, it's a tradeoff -- if you want historical accuracy without documentation, pick One Way; if you want the notes, pick BGO. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
