About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

If you are a collector of classic rock records, then no doubt you already have these, but if you are only starting to get the bug, who could ask for more than the first two records by Boston -- both of which soared to the top of the charts and remained there like an albatross for weeks on end -- in the case of the first one, it remained in the Top Ten for nearly a year. For those who lived through it the first time, this package is likely to accomplish one of two things: either having you remembering your high school years and reveling in their hedonism and camaraderie, or send you screaming into the abyss with your hands over your ears wishing you could blot out not only the sound but the nightmarish memories of clothing styles back in the day. Bill and Ted never counted Boston's first two recordings into either of their Excellent Adventures. Thom Jurek, All Music Guide
