An odd case of a Greatest Hits collection being Essentialby JohnQ

July 13, 2009: Yes, there are many songs here collected from earlier albums but what makes this one special is that it adds the two Leon Russell produced songs as well as several songs Dylan did with Happy Traum, none of which had been previously released. The odd thing is that the old songs combline with the new songs in such a way as to make this feel like a brand new album. I dont know of any serious Dylan fan who does not have this Greatest Hits Vol.2 (which can not be said about other "hits" packages). Make sure that you get THIS Vol.2 package as there are other releases that copy the "vol.2" name but are not this great album.
