Like similar Rap-A-Lot titles for Scarface, Devin the Dude, Yukmouth, and Pimp C, Best of the Geto Boys is a mixtape-style overview, not a track-in-whole compilation like 1992's Uncut Dope or 2002's Greatest Hits. The uncredited mixing is fine, and not much about the selection is debatable -- "Fuck 'Em," "Gangster of Love," "Damn It Feels Good to Be a Gangster," "Mind Playing Tricks on Me," "Scarface," and "Size Ain't Shit" are aired out, as well as other highlights through 1991 -- but nothing on the packaging notifies the potential buyer that the tracks are presented in this manner.
