One of Wings best and sadly their last. "Goodnite Tonite" deserves to be on this CD since it was released as a single a few months before the albums release (why the put the song on McCartney II as a bonus track boggles my mind). Great CD and couda and shouda been even better with the inclusion of Goodnight tonite.

When this LP first came out I ended up wearing out two within the span of five years. Having spent my life collecting music I must say this LP/CD is one of the best in balance ever released by any member of the Beatles. The eclectic mix of good old rock, light rock, contemporary, and songs that would fit into todays grouping of alternative it shows the full flexability of what Paul McCartney is able to do as a music artist. Many critics have claimed this was Pauls attempt to get back into Rock & Roll but fail to point out the biggest hit from this LP was a light rock song "Getting Closer". Personally I feel the best tracks on this LP are "Spin it On" (a mix of driving rock and hints of early alternative/punk from groups like the Ramones or early Blondie) and "Baby's Request" (a light soft swing/jazz tune). My only regret of this LP/CD is that you can only special order it right now and it is very difficult to find in resale stores. It is one of the "lost" greats that has been nearly forgotten about by the music industry. For anyone who even remotely enjoys the Beatles or any of the later music from any of the fab four it is a must have, you definately won't regret it.
