Continuing its series of child-friendly CDs, Baby Einstein is everything one would expect from something with that title (although, in terms of intelligent music for children, there is better stuff -- John Lithgow, for example -- out there). Most of the songs on the album will already be well-known by parents ("Do Your Ears Hang Low?," "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider," "B-I-N-G-O," "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"), and all are fairly upbeat, being that this is a made-for-playtime disc. Musically, it's nothing extraordinary -- simple keyboards and percussion for the most part, with a chorus of children's voices singing -- but it does the trick, and should make any toddler's playdate a little more enjoyable.
