About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Part of Universal's Authorized Bootleg series, this album captures Cinderella at the peak of their success, giving a New Years Eve concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. The audience is in a jubilant mood and so is the band, partying to ring in the new year and to celebrate their second hit album, Heartbreak Station. All the big hits from that and Long Cold Winter are here, and Cinderella sounds big and powerful, cruising like a jetliner. Although the band wasn't quite made for arenas like some of their peers -- they were too bluesy for that, better suited for an intimate setting -- they're muscular enough here to offer pretty convincing proof that Cinderella wasn't just another run of the mill hair metal band, they had some real musical might.
