February 08, 2008: Those rock fans that actually have a sentimental soft side ....NEED..this in your collection.Nilsson was always a versatile musician with a love for the now overlooked music of the early 1900's.This CD is the ultimate Nilsson!Backed up by the experience from that exact time period is Gorden Jenkins..""Sinatra,Nat Cole,Ect.."". This is a time piece! You can actually place yourself in. Sit and RELAX kick back and listen to musical history. ENJOY!

April 12, 2004: I cherish my copy of "A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night" LP and handle it lovingly as I once again watch my trusty Shure cartridge caress its vinyl grooves ever so intimately, just as those pure pristine analog sounds touch my innermost still beating romantic heart. My mind is filled with the visions of the blue eyed brunette damsel whom I wooed in the olden year of 1973 to the sounds of Schmilsson. Harry, you sure knew how to belt out a ballad. Sadly, LP's and analog sound is almost total history. Also sadly, Harry Nilsson has passed on. But rejoice Dear Hearts, for a most beautiful reincarnation now exists in the form of this CD (As Time Goes By) which features all the tracks of the original LP plus some additional material which couldn't fit on the vinyl LP. Never you mind that there is no glistening 12 inch disc, backlighted by the glow of vacuum tube amps, and possibly, a lava lamp. The music which eminates from this cold, unfeeling CD is pure warmth and bliss, minus the scratches and hiss of my cherished old LP. If you are one of those hopeless creatures who lives for this kind of romanticism, you need this CD to restore your musical sanity. Harry Lives! By the way, I married the brunette. Thanks, Harry.
