Like the other volumes in the Six Degrees Collection, this volume explores the relationship between a particular style of world music -- Arabian, in this case -- and electronica. As pointed out, Arabian Travels emphasizes Arabian music, a style that synergizes surprisingly well with electronica, resulting in a sedate, hallucinogenic aura. Most of the songs here emphasize mood over dancing, making this volume more of a listening piece than something to party to.
