"Barbie Girl" is one of those inexplicable pop culture phenomena -- a bouncy, slightly warped Euro-dance song that simultaneously sends up femininity and Barbie dolls. Mattel wasn't too amused, but the public was, making it a huge hit in Europe and America. Like many Europop acts, Aqua isn't capable of delivering another song as insanely catchy as "Barbie Girl," but there's plenty of infectious filler that keeps the album moving along at a nice pace. November 07, 2005: I first heard Barbie Girl in fall of '97 and the hits from this CD just kept on comming. I know every song by heart and It's a must have if you enjoy being many difrent kinds of music and making people laugh like me.

March 20, 2005: OK, OK, I am a big rock fan and even though I am one, I still always enjoyed hearing "Barbie Girl" on the radio. It is such a catchy, energetic song! Finally, I found out who the artist was of the song and bought the CD. The music is techno, energetic, and just fun to listen to. It reminds me of the kind of music you hear in the 80's, but it is still good. So listen to the samples, and if you like what you hear, then BUY THIS CD: YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! (I sure wasn't.)
