This album is incredible. By 1998 Tricky, who once made those ohh so sinister programmed beats, had recruited a powerful band he travels with. This album realized the sound of his band. AWDF, although boasting much more musicianship than his previous efforts, still adhered to the smoky triphop (for lack of a better word) sound he's admired for. If youre a fan of his first two... check this out. Particularly potent are the choir chanting and dank beats served up on its lead single "Broken Homes".
