The supposed antidote to the darkness of Kiss (but with even more lipstick and androgyny), this two-fer collection compiles the first two Angel releases -- 1975's eponymous debut and 1976's Helluva Band. Though not as enjoyable a listen as 1978's White Hot, it still has a few moments of a band beginning to slowly evolve and become comfortable in their white polyester jumpsuits.
