Editorial Reviews

File under "Yes." When this version of the band couldn't obtain rights to the name, they put their album out under their combined names, but it's still Yes by any other name. Jon Anderson's tenor wails through spacy lyrics, Rick Wakeman constructs cathedrals of synthesized sound, Steve Howe rips high-pitched guitar leads, and Bill Bruford makes his drums sound like timpani. For all that, it's a pedestrian effort for these veterans, not as bombastic as some of their stuff, not as inspired as others, but it definitely has the "Yes" sound. "She Gives Me Love" even refers to "Long Distance Runaround." William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide

February 10, 2009: This has the music quality of the group YES but adds an interesting mix from the Australian Aborigines in some of the songs. Very spiritual and yet traditional YES music. Really love this CD.

February 04, 2007: Even though this really is'nt Yes, but fans will except this album as a Yes album, because Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman, and Steve Howe are members of Yes, but Bill Bruford whom he was the founding drummer of Yes makes a contribution to this album as well.
