November 29, 2004: Cece Winans' "Alone In His Presence" has been a source of strength to me at those times when I have been at my very lowest. The songs comforted and uplifted me when my father's sudden death rocked the very foundation of my being. Now that a friend's mother has passed suddenly, I have ordered a copy of the cd for her. Cece is, without question, the most soothing gospel singer I have heard.

April 21, 2003: CeCe Winans can SING. This CD is full of songs that inspire worship. Her voice is easy to listen to because she truly is a technically able singer, who sings with conviction. I could listen to this CD over and over, when I'm up or when I'm down. It has encouraging words and has a somewhat softer sound than her following CDs, which are also quite good, however.
