About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Paul Thorn's second album Ain't Love Strange features more of the singer/songwriter's quirky, confessional, roots-based songs, including "Liberace & Fabio," "Where Was I," "Burn down the Trailer Park," "Help Me out, Hook Me Up," and "That's All I Know Right Now." While it may not have the immediate impact of his debut Hammer & Nail, Ain't Love Strange is another worthwhile effort from Thorn. Heather Phares, All Music Guide

October 30, 2006: AINT LOVE STRANGE is the first CD that I listened to by Paul Thorn. My mother lent me her CD and I listened to it and I was very impressed. Being a songwriter/musician myself, I could appreciate the lyrics and style of the music. I know Billy Maddox personally, Paul's co-writer, and he's a very talented musician/songwriter himself. He also has a studio in the town that my mother grew up. I highly recommend this CD as well. BURN DOWN THE TRAILOR PARK is one of my favorite songs as a matter of fact, the whole CD is great! If you haven't purchased this CD, you're missing a great CD.
