About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Las Vegas-based Adelitas Way's polished, chrome-laden modern rock draws its water from the same angsty, aggro-well as bands like Hinder, Godsmack, Burn Halo, Avenged Sevenfold, and Three Days Grace. Bolstered by the admittedly infectious single "Invincible," which wound its way onto the pop culture carousel through TV as the theme song for the weekly World Wrestling Entertainment Superstars show, the band's eponymous debut sizzles with rage, sex, and regret, occasionally veering into "pick yourself up and dust off your coat"-style self-improvement. Founder and lead singer Rick DeJesus sports a familiar, even-handed set of pipes that can go from full-throated metalcore scream to emo crooning at the drop of a needle, and the band kicks up enough noise to satisfy even the most dogmatic hard rock junkie, but Adelitas Way's focus is clearly on the commercial side of success, not the artistic, resulting in what feels more like a calling card than a lightning strike. July 19, 2009: This cd is the cd to get for 2009!! Lead Singer Rick DeJesus can go from belting out a true rock tune on Invincible then sex it up a bit on Dirty Little thing and have you wanting more with Closer to You.

The guitar riffs on this cd are unbelievable!!! Not too bad for an 18 year old...INCREDIBLE guitar player!

These guys are well on their way to the top....check out the cd...you will NOT regret it!

July 18, 2009: Adelitas Way is one of the BEST new rock bands to emerge this decade. While their music can be likened to a Hinder type, Adelitas Way definitely has a sound all their own. This debut CD has the perfect mix of hard rocking, stomp your feet, songs with amazing guitar riffs, fantastic drum beats, and high energy vocals to get you movin' ("Scream","Just A Little Bit") and soft, melodic, ballads that make you feel the emotion ("Closer To You, "Brother"). All of the bands lyrics are thought-provoking and relevant, drawn from the band's personal experiences, and are relatable to everyone. You will recognize the first single,"Invincible", as the theme song for the WWE Superstars. This CD is not to be missed and is one you will play over and over and never get tired off. The music sounds as fresh the 10th time you play it as it did the first time you heard it.

I Also Recommend: Tri-Polar, Division, Against the Grain, Halestorm, Halestorm.
