Editorial Reviews

Placido Domingo's powerful tenor proves an ideal match with seasonal chestnuts like "Deck the Halls" on Gala Christmas in Vienna, which also includes noteworthy contributions from Sarah Brightman ("Silent Night"), Helmut Lotti ("Away in a Manger") and Ricardo Cocciante ("Tu Scendi Dalle Stelle"). ~ Marvin Jolly, All Music Guide All Music Guide

December 10, 2008: I think every Sarah Brightman fan should have this CD. She does a real down Santa Claus is Coming to Town - don't miss it. The album is great - voices blend beautifully - also Sarah's first version of First of May is precious - the second version is just OK. I play this CD time after time, year after year. Have it on my MP3 player and in all my computers in Windows Media Player. Do yourself a favor and give yourself a Christmas present - buy this CD - you will thank me a hundred times for telling you about it.

I Also Recommend: A Winter Symphony [B&N Exclusive Version], Classics, The Phantom of the Opera [Original London Cast Recording], Symphony, Diva: The Singles Collection.
