About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Cooking Vinyl's mammoth three-disc Ennio Morricone 50 Movie Theme Hits collection offers a cornucopia of tracks from the legendary composer's '60s, '70s and '80s heydays. There are enough familiar cuts here for the newbie, almost all of which have appeared on numerous other Morricone compilations, but the bulk of the overview is spent on deeper tracks from films that haven't benefited from the international spotlight that made his spaghetti western work with Sergio Leone so well known. With 50 tracks to choose from, even the most discriminating fan of the genre is sure to find a new favorite. Reverend Lee Power, All Music Guide
