Guy's addition to the 20th Century Masters series is a compacted version of 2002's Groove Me compilation, containing 12 of the 17 songs that appear on that set. If you simply want the big hits -- "Let's Chill," "Do Me Right," "I Like," "Groove Me," "Wanna Get With U" -- this is a thrifty way to obtain all that you need, but Groove Me definitely has a slight advantage since it digs a little deeper (including one of their earliest hits, "'Round and 'Round," which is missing on this disc). Either way, you're going to be reminded why late-'80s/early-'90s R&B was hardly a wasteland. Not only that, but you'll probably be able to appreciate the kind of impact this group left on much of what came after them. Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
