As dodgy collections go, this one isn't all bad. It does have some dynamite David Allan Coe performances on it: There' "Mona Lisa Lost Her Smile," "You Never Even Called Me by My Name," "Tennessee Whiskey," "Willie, Waylon and Me," and "Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone)," but it lacks such essentials as "Long-Haired Redneck," "Take This Job and Shove It," and "A Sad Country Song." There are far better best-of's, but there are worse ones, too. What makes this worth the few dollars is that there are no bad cuts on this set, making it a decent Coe listening experience.
