March 12, 2001: This is truly Engelbert unchained...singing all the love songs that we have in our hearts. Singing them as only he can sing them. If you are a fan and love his music you will love this album. If you aren't a fan...buy this album you will become one! That magnificent voice, singing love songs as only Engelbert can! His voice is better than ever. He takes these songs and with his special phrasing makes them his own and you forget that anyone else ever sang them. My favorite on this album Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.
